My name is Isa, I am a student researcher and artist with a passion for community and the environment. Through mediums like biodesign, interdisciplinary research, and journalism, I want to leave the Earth better than I found it. 

 

  My current academic focus is on sustainable design. This includes anything from material science to environmental sociology and philosophy. I am currently transitioning into a career in materials in order to pursue sustainable material development. My goal is to combine all these skills for holistic, interdisciplinary research.

 

Learning is my favorite hobby, and that encompasses anything under the sun - from biodata sonification (creating music with plants) to mixed media animation. If it requires creativity and problem-solving, I'm up for the challenge.
